people2people is excited to partner with one of Australia's largest mid-tier accounting firms to find a Manager/Senior Manager for their Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of Transaction Due Diligence projects, working closely with a partner in Brisbane while collaborating with teams across Australia remotely.
About the Role: You will play a key leadership role in managing Transaction Due Diligence for high-profile deals, including mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs for corporate and private equity clients.
Additionally, you will work alongside a Brisbane-based partner to build and expand the TAS team in Queensland.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the execution of buy-side and sell-side due diligence on M&A transactions, IPO assignments, and other advisory projects.
Plan engagements, assess risks, and deliver high-quality outcomes in partnership with senior leadership.
Analyze and interpret complex financial data, providing clear and concise recommendations to clients.
Prepare and review due diligence reports, focusing on executive summaries and key financial insights.
Take ownership of client relationships, helping to drive business growth.
Work closely with remote teams, particularly the Sydney office, to ensure seamless project execution.
Who We're Looking For: We are seeking candidates who are currently working in Transaction Advisory teams within professional practice firms and have a background in M&A, Deal Advisory, and Transaction Diligence.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, work well autonomously, and be passionate about contributing to business growth.
Skills and Experience: At least 1 year as an Assistant Manager in a Transaction Advisory team within a Big 4 or mid-tier firm.
CA or CPA qualification (or relevant tertiary qualification).
Significant experience in M&A, Deal Advisory, and Transaction Due Diligence.
Proficiency in analyzing financial data and drafting high-level reports.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
