About the OPPORTUNITY Several opportunities are available for motivated Maintenance Engineering Analysts - ILS to join our Maritime Australia business, deriving and analysing logistics support data and trends on equipment/systems on the Hunter Class Naval Frigates.
Reporting to a Supportability Engineering Lead, you will be employed on a permanent full time basis and situated in either Melbourne CBD, Osborne Adelaide or Cairns locations.

BAE Systems Maritime Australia (formerly known as ASC Shipbuilding), has been contracted to design and deliver the world's most advanced anti-submarine warfare frigates to the Royal Australian Navy.
The Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP) will create and sustain more than 5,000 jobs across BAE Systems and the wider Australian Defence supply chain over the life of the program.
These opportunities will see you: Conduct investigations/studies and analyse source data collected for fitted equipment/systems to determine the operating, maintenance, engineering, training and support requirements for its life cycle Perform Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Maintenance Engineering Analysts activities Undertake ILS/Maintenance engineering analysis activities including performing Failure Modes Effect Analysis and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) analysis Task analysis and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) Ensure logistics supportability/maintenance engineering analysis best practice, sound advice and analysis is provided Provide input to the development of the logistics supportability/maintenance engineering analysis reports through the provision of data and assumptions extracted Collaborate effectively with customers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders, maintaining a positive culture Provide conclusions and proposed recommendations to optimise equipment/system supportability and life cycle costs About YOU: Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) experience or Supportability/Maintenance engineering analysis experience, or maritime technical experience, or experience in an engineering/production/technical science environment Strong computer skills, (specifically Microsoft Word and Excel), the ability to analyse technical data and provide sound recommendations Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective relationships Critical thinking skills, flexible and driven to improve current processes and solve problems Whilst not essential, experience with Failure Modes Effect Analysis and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), or Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) analysis, or Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), will be highly regarded We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
