Sunraysia Community Health Service (SCHS) is a dynamic organisation promoting health, wellbeing and independence in a social model of health. The Role The Learning & Development Coordinator is a member of the Human Resources team and will play a key role in the effective development and delivery of staff training, supporting graduate programs, trainees, student and work experience placements. This role will design, implement and oversee training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and competencies of employees and students to improve their performance and productivity. The position is also responsible for coordinating student and trainee work placement programs in collaboration with line managers, Universities and Registered Training Organisations.
Key Selection Criteria Mandatory A strong knowledge of and demonstrable outcomes associated with workforce development and education services in the health or related sector. Excellent planning, organisation and coordination abilities. Highly developed communication and consultation skills. Experience in the facilitation, development and assessment of staff training. Capability to make sound judgements under pressure. Preferred Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to complete) and/or Business (or equivalent). Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, or relevant health or education qualifications. Knowledge or experience with PlaceRight student placement platform.
