About the Role As a Kitchen Steward you will oversee the hotel back-of-house operation by ensuring proper maintenance of all operating equipment and dish washing machines and providing the highest level of attention to the cleanliness and sanitation of all food and storage outlets.
Duties/responsibilities Operate dishwashing machinery to wash and sanitise crockery and kitchen implements Clean and keep tidy the restaurant(s), kitchen(s) and all food outlets within the hotel Keep storerooms clean and tidy at all times Ensure hygiene and health and safety standards are met at all times Work with the kitchen to provide excellent service to our guests Skills/experience Previous experience handling and working with chemicals A passion for providing great service A professional attitude and strong work ethic Ability to perform in a team and autonomously Applicants will only be considered if they do not have visa restrictions limited to less than 12 months Culture and Benefits Our team are responsible for living up to our brand promise of 'ensuring that every guest feels cared for, valued and respected' we achieve this by ensuring our Blue Energy culture is alive in each of our hotels.
