AAT Building Group is one of South Australia and Western Victoria's leading providers of building repairs to homes and businesses.We work for some of Australia's largest insurance companies to repair damaged buildings following insurable events such as fire, flood, and storm damage.We are now looking for an experienced Building Supervisor to join our trusted and professional team.The role involves engaging with local trades, scheduling and supervising repair works whilst managing multiple work sites across the South-East of South Australia, and South-West of Victoria.The candidate will be expected to undertake some estimating duties when possible. This involves providing a detailed scope of works and quote for repairs, along with an honest report on the cause of damages.The role will also support our Restoration division to assist with managing emergency make safes to mitigate damages following fire, flood, mould damage etc.This is a full-time role i.e. 5 days per week Monday to Friday (approx. 3 days per week travelling and visiting job sites with 2 days per week in the Mount Gambier office).Some overnight stays may be required for regional travel.The ideal candidate will be based in or around Mount Gambier, SA or Casterton, Vic; however, all candidates in the South-East of SA or South-West of VIC would be suitable.The following attributes will be considered highly:Proven estimating and supervision experience.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.A positive "can do" solution-based approach.Strong building knowledge, and knowledge of local trades.Be well presented.Hold a valid Drivers Licence.Hold a valid Building Supervisor's Licence for both South Australia and Victoria.What we offer:We will provide all the necessary tools to perform your role including but not limited to a company vehicle, phone, and laptop.We offer a wide support network and a positive attitude towards helping our employees develop a career with AAT Building Group.This role has an immediate start.If you have got what it takes and are ready to meet our commitment to customer service, then we would love to hear from you.
