Reporting to the Head of Airport Planning, the Infrastructure Planning Manager will be responsible for the coordination, delivery and management of infrastructure plans across Adelaide and Parafield Airports that effectively deliver our property and airport vision, including management of external consultants and engagement with both internal and external stakeholders and service providers.
This includes services, ground transport, stormwater, environment and sustainability planning.
Lead the coordination, delivery, management and updates of infrastructure plans across Adelaide and Parafield Airport, including but not limited to: Services master planning (airport wide), including power, communications, potable water, fire water, recycled water, sewer and gas.
Services concepts.
Stormwater management and planning.
Environmental and sustainability planning.
Ground Transport planning and concepts including roads, car parks, cycleways, footpaths and public transport.
Staging and implementation plans.
Infrastructure guidelines aligned with agreed sustainability principles.
Consultation with local/state authorities and/or service providers Lead the provision of infrastructure advice to inform requirements for future commercial developments (site specific) and aviation developments, working closely with the Commercial Planning Manager and Aviation Planning Manager to effectively communicate requirements and expectations to potential tenants, developers and other third parties and providing the necessary support to enable the vision of all parties to be realised.
This may also include: Provision of inputs to inform business cases and lease agreements Provision of inputs to inform aeronautical deals Consultation with local/state authorities and/or service providers Community engagement Reviews Oversight of and/or management of specified projects / strategic plans to achieve quality, program and budget outcomes, as required, including management of external multidisciplinary consultants and meaningful engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.
Provision of infrastructure advice for ad-hoc projects and enquiries from across the business.
Review (or appropriate delegation) of Development Applications and Building Applications against the Airport Master Plans, relevant infrastructure master plans and guidelines, focused on infrastructure.
Contribute to the development and approval of the Airport Master Plans for Adelaide and Parafield Airports.
Contribute to the development of the capital plans and aeronautical deals for Adelaide and Parafield Airports.
The Infrastructure Planning Manager is a passionate professional that thrives in a busy and supportive work environment.
Working as part of the close-knit Airport Planning team within the broader Planning and Infrastructure business unit, you are a positive and motivated team player with the ability to proactively develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
You have excellent attention to detail with strong commercial acumen, verbal and written communication skills.
You will have a minimum of 15 postgraduate years of experience in engineering, development, construction, and/or planning fields and demonstrated experience in development and implementation of strategic infrastructure planning.
The Infrastructure Planning Manager has experience dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders and has the flexibility to accept and handle a large variety of tasks, prioritising to meet conflicting deadlines.
You can use logic and reasoning to identify problems, develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions and a demonstrated ability to plan and make decisions which consider a large number of criteria (e.g.
technical, sustainability, capital and operating costs, maintenance, program, community etc).
You have a collaborative and adaptable approach with strong and confident communications skills to handle all stakeholders, including staff, developers, consultants, contractors, service providers, relevant local and state authorities.
You have strong business information skills with excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
Experience in the aviation sector and/or understanding of airport legislative requirements and proficiency of GIS/mapping applications will be advantageous.
