Job Description: As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and assisting in the planning, documentation, and deployment of ICT technologies for large, complex, and multi-faceted ICT construction projects occurring in Queensland. You will work closely with the broader program, project management, and technical teams to ensure the successful design, testing, and implementation of various infrastructure technologies. The role would suit a Project Manager in a similar role with a technology background such as networking, unified communications, server and storage, or other ICT infrastructure systems. However, other technology backgrounds may be considered.
Responsibilities: Lead and assist in the planning, documentation, and deployment of ICT technologiesCollaborate with the broader project management and technical teams to ensure the successful implementation of various infrastructure technologiesManage contracts in relation to project engagementsEnsure that project milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budgetConduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans as requiredManage and communicate project progress to stakeholdersFoster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among project team membersDrive milestone-focused outcomes to a positive conclusionRequirements: Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsFormal project management training and/or certificationStrong Microsoft Project experience and capabilitiesProven experience working in the ICT industry as a Project Manager with a background delivering full lifecycle projectsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust have, or be willing to have, all the required vaccinations necessary to work in the health industry or have a valid exemptionBachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is advantageousFor some projects, travel may be required depending on the assignmentThis is a multi-year role for the right person.
