$70,000–$80,000 + 11.5% superannuation + generous salary packaging options The opportunity The HR team is integral to supporting the research agenda that forms the Baker Institute's mission. We provide HR customer focused services across the full range of the HR spectrum to the Baker Institute and AMREP AS (a Baker Institute subsidiary).
The HR Coordinator/Advisor will support the General Manager, HR in providing high-level customer focused service to our stakeholders. This is an ideal opportunity for the HR Coordinator to utilise their knowledge and skills with the support and mentorship of the General Manager, HR.

Key duties In this role you will be expected to:
Providing end-to-end HR support, preparing letters of offer, updating probationary reviews, onboarding, offboarding and general HR administration. Generate unsuccessful emails/letters, letters of offer, contract variations and terms and conditions of employment. Enter information into TechOne database and process payroll data, as required. Prepare employee contracts. Maintaining employee records and data in TechOne. Providing a wide range of administrative duties and customer advisory services. Keep up to date with all HR filing ensuring all information is kept accurate and confidential. Skills and experience You will have:
High attention to detail to maintain compliance effectively and efficiently. Time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. 2–3 years of experience in a generalist HR role is essential, preferably within a NFP workplace. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively. Proficiency in using HRIS, TechOne and other HR-related software is highly desirable. Applicants must have professional working proficiency in English (verbal and written). Excellent planning and organisational skills, including the ability to manage a range of tasks with conflicting priorities.
