Hr Specialist

Details of the offer

The Company We are an Australian company with a national presence recognised for building modern energy solutions in pursuit of energy efficiency, reliability, and emissions reduction.

Our diverse workforce delivers modern hot water, steam and furnace solutions, and services to industrial and commercial businesses across Australia.

We provide solution and energy efficiency consulting, system design and Project Management covering EPC, and maintenance across steam and hot water infrastructure. We also deliver specialist industry training to upskill operators and technicians in organisations with boiler solutions.

The job We have traditionally engaged consultants to assist us in developing HR processes and to support the business. As we become a more complex organisation and grow geographically, financially and in FTE, it has become apparent that we need to formalise HR in our business. Our people and an environment for them to thrive and grow is intrinsic to our long-term success.

Your remit will include:

Provide executive HR Support and guidance to the CEO. Develop and/or improve HR policies and procedures. Assist and guide the leadership team with workforce planning, organizational development and company HR strategies. Be the go-to person for all HR inquiries and support requests. Support performance management, employee relations, and workplace health and safety efforts. You will have a foundation of HR policies and processes which you will own to improve, add to, and champion.

You must be an HR specialist with 5+ years of demonstrable experience at an HR BP or HR Manager level. You will ideally come from an environment that requires full lifecycle HR delivery and knowledge. This includes HR policies, procedures, fundamentals of employment law, employee performance and talent acquisition.

This position will be located in our Parkinson, Queensland, office. Occasional travel to our other offices will be required.

HR or aligned qualifications will be highly beneficial.

You will be provided with commensurate remuneration and potentially an opportunity to continue in a permanent capacity after the initial 6-month tenure. This opportunity is offered as a Fixed Term Contract.

We take our work seriously, but not necessarily ourselves; we are inquisitive and always look to have fun and excel in what we do. We look out for one another, draw on each other's expertise and take pride in making a difference.

We put safety, diversity, our people, and client satisfaction above all else. If you live in Australia and have suitable residency and work rights, we look forward to reviewing your CV and Cover Letter.
