Open to candidates anywhere in Queensland.What's on Offer$110K plus TFR and employee benefits such as paid parental leave, corporate travel discounts, Novated leases, private health discounts, credit discounts and much moreHybrid working conditions with flexibility to accommodate work-life balanceSolid supportive team and career stabilityFast-paced, no two days are the same, exposure to different types of legislative workers compensationNo billable or hourly targetsAccess to a variety of Health and Wellness initiatives - including the EAP, Ventia's Healthy Minds program and Healthy Bodies programAbout the RoleThe primary purpose of the role is to provide specialist support to Ventia sectors to effectively implement workers compensation, health and injury management activities for employees.Support implementation of sector workers compensation and health management strategies for injury management, illness prevention and management of all employee and workplace wellbeing factorsFacilitate co-ordination of claims, rehabilitation and return to work activitiesDevelop effective partnerships with key internal and external stakeholdersCase management strategy development and implementation for workers compensation, health and injury management mattersEstablish and maintain effective networks with treating doctors, insurers and rehabilitation providers, including review of preferred providersMonitor and track claim trends, costs, outstanding liability and provision accountsIdentify sector training and development needs and facilitate information and deliveryRequired Skills and ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Human Resources / Industrial Relations (HR/IR) or SafetyExperience with SRC Act (and Comcare ideally)Effective consulting and relationship management skillsExperience with completing Return to Work plans, developing Health Management plans, implementing workplace health initiatives and injury management practicesExperience in implementing change initiativesAbout VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
