PRIMARY ROLEPart of the Origination Team, the Graduate Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting a Director of the Brisbane office.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing information to aid in assessing loans including modelling, feasibility studies, credit submissions, and other assessment activities as well as portfolio management and regular reporting and communication. The Analyst will assist in supporting the clients and aiding in understanding their financial position and performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist the origination of loans from initial inquiry, approval, and loan settlement.Preparing credit submission papers with financial and risk analysis.Financial modelling of clients' accounts to assess income and affordability.Preparation of feasibility and funding studies to analyse project viability.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders throughout the loan process as required.Management of the team's portfolio with a view to client retention, including loan renewals.Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of Balmain's internal funding programmes, policies, processes, and procedures.Maintain a good knowledge of the commercial real estate funding market including Balmain, banks, other non-banks, institutions, and private debt funds.Dealing with routine queries received from clients, investment managers, and third parties.Completion of all administration requirements in relation to the loans you manage within your team, including database management.Attendance at regular Balmain company and analyst meetings in addition to lender information meetings which are scheduled from time to time.Referring business opportunities to the originator as they arise through existing clients, referrers, and the wider network.Supporting team members to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.COMPETENCY / JOB SKILL ATTRIBUTES / REQUIREMENTSQualifications Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or business-related field.Attributes / Behaviours Professional and positive attitude, providing inclusive interpersonal skills and abilities to work with various stakeholders under various situations and conditions including time constraints or technical and transactional challenges that may be presented.Strong teamwork values and professional customer relationship skills.Ability to develop positive relationships with other team members, senior management, external customers, and third-party vendors.Adaptable with the ability to manage multiple tasks.Ability to work proactively to solve problems and work independently.#J-18808-Ljbffr
