About The Opportunity
Reporting to the CEO, this newly created role plays a pivotal role in ensuring effective governance, compliance, and policy management for the South Australian Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).
In this position, you will support both the CEO and the Board in meeting their strategic and regulatory obligations while ensuring alignment with legislative requirements.
Additionally, this role is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of policies that shape the CITB's operations.
By upholding ethical standards, managing risks, and ensuring accountability, the Governance Officer will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure effective governance and compliance with legislative requirements.
Support the CEO and Board in strategic decision-making.
Develop and oversee the implementation of policies.
Uphold ethical standards and manage risks.
Ensure accountability within the organisation.
