About the Role: Are you eager to launch your career in hospitality? This full-time position presents an exceptional opportunity to begin your journey under the guidance of our esteemed Maintenance Manager. You will enjoy fixed weekend coverage with two weekdays off.
As our Handyman/Gardener, you will collaborate closely with the Maintenance Manager to uphold the impeccable standards of our hotel rooms, restaurant, pool area, and grounds. Extensive training will be provided to ensure you excel in this diverse role.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain lawns, gardens, and irrigation systemsExecute general maintenance tasks including plumbing, painting, and carpentryDetail and wash company vehicles; assist with shuttle dutiesEnsure pool maintenance meets Class 3 Pool StandardsCoordinate with hotel staff and assist with guest requestsUphold our core values: Passion, Accountability, Integrity, and RespectBenefits and Perks: Supportive team environment with excellent leadershipFree onsite parkingDiscounts on accommodation and F&B across all Vista Hospitality Group hotelsUniforms providedEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Comprehensive training and career development opportunitiesPotential for inter-hotel transfersSkills and Experience: This role is ideal for someone keen to enter the hospitality industry.
