We are seeking an experiencedFinance Manager to lead our financial planning, management, and reportingfunctions.
Job Description: As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role inmanaging the financial health of the company. You will be responsible foroverseeing the finance department, developing financial strategies, andensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations. Your expertisewill be essential in guiding the company's financial decisions, optimisingfinancial performance, and supporting overall business growth.
KeyResponsibilities: Financial Planning and Strategy: ?Develop and implement the company's financial strategy,aligning it with the organisation's overall business goals and objectives.
?Lead the financial planning and budgeting processes,including the preparation of forecasts, budgets, and financial models.
?Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, andopportunities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Financial Reporting and Analysis: ?Oversee the preparation of accurate and timelyfinancial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cashflow statements, and variance analyses.
?Present financial reports to the executive team andboard of directors, explaining financial performance and variances againstbudgets.
?Conduct in-depth financial analysis to supportdecision-making and strategic planning.
Cost Management and Efficiency: ?Monitor and control the company's financial performanceby managing costs, optimising spending, and improving financial efficiency.
?Identify areas for cost reduction and operationalimprovements, implementing strategies to enhance profitability.
Compliance and Risk Management: ?Ensure compliance with all applicable financialregulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
?Manage the internal controls framework, ensuringfinancial integrity and minimising risks.
?Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, andregulatory bodies, ensuring all financial obligations are met.
Cash Flow and Account Management: ?Manage the company's cash flow, ensuring sufficientliquidity for operational needs while optimising the use of funds.
?Oversee treasury functions, including investments,financing arrangements, and management of banking relationships.
Team Leadership and Development: ?Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering aculture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
?Ensure the finance team operates efficiently, meetsdeadlines, and delivers high-quality work.
Strategic Business Partnering: ?Collaborate with other department heads to providefinancial insights and support for key business initiatives and projects.
?Advise senior management on financial implications ofbusiness activities, helping to drive strategic decisions.
Systems and Process Improvement: ?Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financialsystems, ensuring they support accurate and efficient financial reporting.
?Continuously review and improve financial processes andprocedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills andQualifications: ?Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, ora related field; a Master's degree or professional accounting qualification(e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred.
?Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similarsenior financial management role.
?Strong knowledge of financial management principles,practices, and regulations.
?Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting,forecasting, and financial reporting.
?Excellent leadership and team management skills.
?Strong communication and presentation abilities, withthe capability to explain complex financial information to non-financialstakeholders.
