About the Role As the Finance and Administration Officer, you will use your love of figures and order to provide administrative and bookkeeping support for day-to-day finance management and project support.
Your role will include a wide range of duties from general administrative tasks to supporting a change of accounting software and social media management.
Whilst the role is diverse, there is a need for financial consistency and ability to interact with a variety of people and interactions that any day may bring.
With a regular 15 hours per week being the base requirement for this position, you will be a team player who will provide support to cover team leave in addition to these base hours.
Duties Provide financial project support Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Support with finance software migration Support with preparations of BAS, financial reporting and reconciliations for multiple entities Assist with social media management Cover administration team leave requirements taking on higher duties at times Skills & Experience Recent success in a finance officer or similar role Understanding of double entry accounting Strong attention to detail, ability to recommend solutions Proficient in MS Office and accounting software, MYOB or Xero beneficial Resilient, flexible and with good communication techniques, including a sense of humour Not-for-profit sector experience helpful Culture & Benefits Join a small team to make a big impact in people's lives and give back to the community!
