Job Description Your New Opportunity: A fantastic full time, permanent role has come up for a Diesel Technician to join our Off Highway Field Service Team .
You'll be based from Wacol as a Field Service Technician , with a focus on power generation, marine, rail and industrial!
No two days will be the same and you'll receive all the training you need to become a technical specialist.
You'll be comfortable working on your own, while our off-highway team is robust, and well supported, you'll be on the road.
In this unique role, you'll be hands on in field service, but also establish and maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of high-end customers, and internal stakeholders alike.
About you: Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic/Diesel Fitter with experience in heavy vehicle, plant, marine or power generation equipment.
Strong in maintenance, service and repair of heavy duty diesel engines.
Exhibiting knowledge and experience in mtu, Deutz, Mercedes Benz, Detroit Diesel, Cummins and Allison Transmission products would be highly advantageous.
Practical working knowledge on the operation of appropriate machinery, tools and equipment.
Easily work independently, and the ability to build strong working relationships.
A commitment to, and promotion of safe work practices.
Have effective communication and teamwork skills, and actively promote Penske's values and purpose.
