Our team in South Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities / Maintenance Technician to join the team on a permanent basis.
In this role you'll step into the team and play an integral role in servicing our Goodlife Health Clubs and Zap Fitness 24-7 clubs, primarily in Northern Adelaide, to ensure the facilities and equipment are maintained to a high standard, providing both a safe and functional environment for both our members and team.
In this Facilities Technician position, you will have the chance to build strong working relationships and rapport with our club managers as their first contact for all maintenance activities.
This is a fast-paced environment where no two days will be the same. One day you will attend clubs to complete logged maintenance jobs assigned on a priority basis. On another day you could be fixing a piece of gym equipment in the morning and patching a wall or changing a light fixture at another club that afternoon.

Key duties and responsibilities: Carry out general maintenance around the club, repairing a large array of fitness equipment, painting, building, planned maintenanceUsing our maintenance log system to ensure all jobs are followed up and completed in a timely mannerEquipment removal and re-installationDocument and maintain maintenance records and hazard identification, reporting any incidents or near misses through WHS systems.Provide essential service audits, and work with suppliers with warranties and ordering spare partsTo be successful in this role you will: Be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding roleHave effective communication skills both written and verbal and natural ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholdersHave strong organisational and prioritisation skills and be comfortable working autonomouslyBe confident managing and coordinating external contractorsHave a passion for the fitness industry and a willingness to learnSkills/experience: Experience as a Facilities / Maintenance TechnicianStrong IT skills/Tech savvyExperience maintaining and working from a maintenance log system such as JiraAustralian driver's license and clean driving recordExperience repairing gym equipmentIn return we offer you: A competitive salary, plus super, access to a company vehicle, phone allowance and toolsA passionate, innovative, energetic, and supportive culture.
