As an Employment Support Consultant - Disability Services, you'll be helping customers with a disability, once they are placed in a role.
Helping them to sustain long term employment: assisting with workplace adjustments that may arise, leading discussions with managers and supporting our candidates with day-to-day queries.
Example of a workplace adjustment: A client may be overstimulated by the noise of machinery on site and be struggling in the workplace as a result.
You may speak with the employer about the potential of noise-cancelling earphones that may solve the problem and allow the person to continue working in the role (if the role allows).
Many situations may occur, your problem solving and customer service skills will see you succeed!

A customer service expert with the ability to build relationships and trust Lived, experienced or understanding of working with people who identify with living with a disability Ability to overcome objections, and break down employment barriers that exist for people with disability Confidence to have conversations with candidates and employers, about adjustments needed or issues if/as they arise Effective, positive problem solving and conflict resolution skills Hold or ability to obtain a Blue Card Willing to have a police check (at no cost to you) Hold a current drivers' licence If you are looking to further your career or looking to begin a career in Employment Services – Look no further than MAX!
