As our ER Specialist for GB, you will play a crucial role in complimenting our employee performance goals, and driving key local initiatives.
Alongside your fellow P&C team, you'll be a trusted advisor, collaborating with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation to coach our managers to support their people through innovative solutions that support our business objectives.
Your expertise in employee relations, industrial relations, performance management, legislative requirements, and HR best practices will be instrumental in creating a thriving and engaged workforce.
Here's a glimpse of what your role will entail: Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute strategic ER plans aligned with our GB goals and to support the VIC Workers Compensation business to achieve ongoing success Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, including performance issues, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution Lead and facilitate employee relations processes, including grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and workplace mediation Implement and enhance ER processes, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations Utilise ER metrics and analytics to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and drive continuous improvement in employee relations processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organisational change initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture Coach and mentor other P&C team members, supporting their growth and development in ER practices Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in employee relations, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to ER/IR initiatives About you To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess: A solid background in HR with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and HR strategy Extensive knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations Proven experience in providing strategic ER advice to senior leaders and driving ER initiatives Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven mindset Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Relevant HR qualifications or certifications (, Bachelor's degree in HR or related field) desirable Working with us: GB values its employees and offers a friendly, comfortable working environment that facilitates a Work and Life Balance!
