About the RoleWorking in an Agile Environment, the DevOps Engineer role sits at the intersection of Infrastructure & IT Operation, and Development teams and requires continuous innovation and process improvements.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of development application tools and processes within the Global Payments AU/NZ Information Technology Network.
Key areas of responsibility will include: Maintain and improve development applications and technologies used for development, deployments, builds, testing and code repository;Assist in the building of automation of development and deployment infrastructure and cloud systems;Provide guidance, direction and support for continuous integration environments;Perform patching and software upgrades to development, testing and production applications and technologies when necessary;Provide guidance, direction and support on development and testing applications and technologies;Assist in technical architectural design of development and testing applications and environment solutions.About YouGlobal Payments is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), with our vision to be Champions of Inclusion.

You will also bring the following skills and experience:
Minimum 2 years commercial experience in Development Operations;Experience supporting services and infrastructure in AWS;CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps;Infrastructure as Code using Ansible or similar;Linux and/or Windows Server experience;Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues;Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, presentations and negotiating;Strong attention to detail.We want you to be you!
