About the role We are seeking an experienced Engineer (Mechanical focus) to play a critical role in leading engineering projects, driving innovation, and providing technical expertise across various initiatives. Based between Fullarton and Mount Barker, you will oversee and manage engineering projects from conception and design through to documentation and manufacture, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Providing technical guidance and support to the engineering and manufacturing teams, you will conduct engineering design studies to optimise product design for manufacture and ensure consistency with our manufacturing capabilities.
What you will be doing Lead projects: conception, design, manufacture, and testing. Communicate and document designs for manufacturing. Be involved in projects including full camp layouts, new product design and componentry. Ensure the integrity and reliability of engineering outputs and identify areas for improvement. What we are looking for Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Project, or related field). Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Professional Engineer license) is preferred. Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g. Solid Works). Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, with a proven track record in project management and technical leadership.
