They pride themselves on fostering a collaborative environment where data innovation thrives, and they're seeking a talented Data Modeller to join their team.
Role Overview: As a Data Modeller, you'll play a critical role in defining, organising, and structuring their data environment.
You will work on various aspects of data modeling, from semantic layers to conceptual, logical, and ER models.
This role will involve close collaboration with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure that their data models align with business objectives and drive data quality.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain semantic data models to improve data interpretation and accessibility for business users.
Create and enhance Entity-Relationship (ER) models to capture data requirements effectively and accurately.
Design conceptual and logical data models that represent the structure and relationships within data to support business processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into scalable data models.
Support data architects in implementing data models that align with our strategic goals and data governance standards.
Review and optimise existing data models to enhance performance and usability.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure models are maintained, updated, and documented.
Skills and Experience: Proven experience in data modeling, including semantic, ER, conceptual, and logical data modeling.
Strong understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.
Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or similar).
Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business requirements.
Strong communication skills to articulate complex data structures to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with data governance and data quality practices is a plus.
