Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their dynamic team.
This pivotal role will shape the company's data strategy and analytics capabilities, with responsibilities spanning database management, data analytics, Power BI reporting, dashboard development, data governance, and compliance for internal clients.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive business and technical expertise in the development and maintenance of Business Intelligence (BI) analytics and reporting capabilities.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling evidence-based decision-making.
Role Description
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating these into BI solutions.
* Ensure data accuracy and consistency in Power BI reports.
* Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Power BI reporting solutions.
* Utilise advanced analytics to analyse complex datasets.
* Design and develop interactive and visually appealing reports using Power BI.
* Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and continuous monitoring.
* Maintain clear documentation of data sources, transformations, and analytical methodologies.
* Provide training and support to end-users on tools, reports, and dashboards.
The ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as data science or computer science.
* Proven experience (8+ years) in data analysis, business intelligence development and data visualisation.
* Proficiency in Power BI.
* Programming skills in SQL with experience in data manipulation.
* Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and ETL processes.
* Excellent communication skills with ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Analytical mindset with focus on data-driven decision-making coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
