Code Camp is Australia's leading specialist school holiday and after-school provider! We are looking for fun and energetic casual staff to assist at our creative-technology camps during the Summer school holidays.
Is this you?
Experienced or interested in working with kids (ages 5-12)?
Passionate about creativity and technology in fields like AI, animation, video game building, YouTube and video editing, design (graphic design, fashion design, interior design), music production or STEM?
Trustworthy, independent, punctual, and reliable?
Able to work full days during the school holiday period (December 2024 - January 2025)
Someone who feels confident speaking in front of a group, is enthusiastic and a good problem solver?
Able to travel to various camp venues locations in your region?
About the position:
You will be provided a lesson plan to deliver to a small class of primary-aged children
Camps run for 2-3 consecutive weekdays 8am – 4pm (we do not run on weekends, public holidays or the week between Christmas and New Years).
Paid training provided as well as support from a qualified teacher on the ground and our online tech-support team.
Please note, our staff are required to supply their own Laptop and HDMI adapter for personal use
Ongoing casual work available within our After School Programs and future holiday camp seasons
Required Skills/Certifications:
Whilst we don't require a specific degree or coding experience, you should have some or all of the following:
Creative fields that involve technology such as animation, design, video game building, coding, video editing, music production, AI
Prior experience working with young kids (aged 5-12) as this role involves leading a class
Mature outlook, common sense, and ability to supervise children
Fluent conversational English
Valid Employee WWVP (or willingness to obtain immediately)
