Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator with at least 3 years of experience and a certificate in logistics management to join our team. In addition to managing contracts, the candidate will serve as a Systems Master User for our manufacturing logistics management system, playing a vital role in optimizing operations and ensuring efficient contract and logistics management.

Requirements: Position is available full time 38/h per week. Must be very flexible with office hours.
Qualifications & Experience:
At least Diploma plus 2 years of experience. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract administration, ideally in the manufacturing or engineering sectors.Certificate in Logistics Management or a related field is required.Proficiency in manufacturing logistics systems and contract management software.Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and supply chain management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a high level of attention to detail.Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Candidate must possess strong experience in drafting agreements and legal correspondence.Must have good communication skills and be professional when discussing sensitive and confidential information with clients.Experience working within a team of 8 or more people.Must have knowledge of basic accounts and using accounting programs.Ability to perform routine work with excellent accuracy and attention to detail, with a strong sense of responsibility and follow-through.Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe products.Must be very flexible with work hours and fully committed.Tasks and Duties (not limited to): Draft, review, and manage contracts for manufacturing projects, ensuring compliance with legal and project-specific requirements.Coordinate contract negotiations between clients, suppliers, and internal teams.Monitor contract performance, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and adherence to legal and financial obligations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation, including amendments and approvals.Serve as the systems master user for the manufacturing logistics management system, overseeing system functionality and providing user training.Manage production schedules, inventory levels, and supply chain operations using the logistics system.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to align contract administration with operational needs.Prepare regular reports on contract and logistics performance for management.Troubleshoot and resolve contract-related and logistics system issues.Ensure compliance with Australian industry standards and regulations.Stay up-to-date with legislative changes and coordinate with the necessary organisations for further information.Manage daily office operations and communicate with the contracts manager on a regular basis.Collaborate with internal staff and external organizations to optimize business operations and achieve organizational objectives.Monitor and react actively to progress or delays in work orders.Prepare Sales and Purchase contracts.Analyse potential risks involved with specific contract terms and liaise with management.Implement and maintain a digital filing management system of all contractual documents.Provide daily input of timesheets, unit-sheets and invoices into the office accounting system.Work closely with the Director in managing contracts and negotiating and renegotiating contractual arrangements.Maintain a system for storing all contract documentation and generating renewal reminders.Act as the principal point of contact for all external suppliers, contractors, and contractual employees.Respond to external requests from clients and oversee onsite office arrangements.Manage client communications by promptly responding to emails and calls, addressing administrative matters, and handling compliments and complaints with tact and professionalism.Support finance manager/accountant with audit and review of monthly payments assessing payments against agreed contractual rates by managing associated paperwork to payroll/timesheets (including weekly/monthly/yearly reports) in a timely and diligent manner.Utilize contract administration skills to create, review, and negotiate contracts for both individual and institutional clients in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Respond to all office email and telephone queries and process accordingly in a timely and efficient manner maintaining full customer satisfaction at all times.Prepare invoices for submission to customers.Implement and maintain a digital filing management system of all contractual documents.Why Join Main Engineering: Be part of a leading engineering workshop with a reputation for quality and personalized service.Opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across various industries.Supportive team environment with opportunities for career development.Only fully qualified and experienced applicants will be considered.
