Salary Range:CCEO Level 8 -$139,695 to $155,208 Gross per annum

About the Role
This position calls for a highly experienced educator with enthusiasm and commitment to work in a challenging and rewarding role, providing Catholic educational leadership for learning and teaching services through coordination, advocacy, representation and delivery of services to support the Mission of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Cairns.
Primarily the role will entail the Consultant - Inclusive Education developing capacity within schools to cater for the diversity of learners within the school population. This involves promoting contemporary principles of effective learning and teaching whilst working with school personnel on curriculum and inclusion policies and educational standards.
Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements
Essential:

Unless an exemption applies all staff are required to hold a current Working With Children Blue Card or be eligible to apply.
Current Registration with Queensland College of Teachers and proven successful and varied teaching experience.
A Master's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, working towards completion, or preparedness to commence.
A minimum of five years teaching experience.
Recent, demonstrated experience in a leadership role (within the last 3 years).
Demonstrated experience in the provision of quality educational programs that support students with diverse educational needs (minimum of 5 years' experience).
Demonstrated engagement with the development of productive and inclusive school communities.
A demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of the school community.
An ability to work across a range of educational contexts.
An ability to build positive relationships within professional learning networks that affect improvement in learning.
Current driver licence and be able to travel within and outside the diocese.
A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision, and ethos of Catholic Education.
Promote child safety at all times.
