Together, we cultivate a supportive environment that equips our students with the confidence to navigate their futures with ease.About the Role:As the Head of Spanish, you will manage, resource, and deliver quality academic programs, driving innovative education as the leader of the Faculty. You will be pivotal in implementing the Strategic Plan as directed by the Principal, ensuring that our Spanish program (Prep – Year 12) is exemplary and continually evolving to meet the needs of our students.What You'll Do:Leadership and Management: Lead the Spanish Faculty with a focus on excellence and innovation, ensuring the highest standards in academic programs.Strategic Implementation: Align with the College's Strategic Plan, collaborating closely with the Principal and other middle leaders to achieve our educational goals.Collaborative Approach: Work in conjunction with other middle leaders to enhance the learning journey of every student, fostering a collaborative and supportive educational environment.Program Oversight: Take direct responsibility for the Spanish program from Prep to Year 12, ensuring it meets educational standards and student needs.Liaison Role: Maintainongoing communication with the Director of Student Learning and the Director of Studies regarding academic programs and student progress.Continuous Improvement: Support College initiatives, stay forward-looking, and strive for continual improvement in all aspects of the Faculty's work.What We're Looking For:Proven experience in educational leadership, particularly in managing and delivering Spanish language programs.A professional who is knowledgeable and experienced in QCAA Spanish curriculum processes and engaging delivery.Strong strategic vision and ability to implement strategic plans effectively.Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with other middle leaders.A commitment to innovation in education and continuous improvement.Passionate about student learning and dedicated to supporting the academic journey of every student.Why Join Us?Dynamic Work Environment: Be part of a forward-thinking institution dedicated to educational excellence.Professional Growth: Opportunities for continuous professional development and career advancement.Impactful Work: Play a key role in shaping the future of education and inspiring the next generation of language learners.If you are ready to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on the future of our Spanish program, we would love to hear from you!
