Student Placement OfficerThe Australian Trade Training College is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering a variety of courses across multiple industries.Due to recent growth, we are seeking a Student Placement Officer to join our team.Work experience provides students with a valuable and rewarding insight into their future career path. Through building strong relationships with employers and schools, you will create opportunities for students to transfer their classroom experience into the workforce.Accountabilities / ResponsibilitiesSecure work placement opportunities for students, especially in our priority industry sectors of electrical, construction, engineering and automotiveMaintain accurate records of student placements, including contact details, placement schedules and feedback from employersCoordinate with Heads of Department, employers, schools and students to ensure all placements are scheduled and completedComplete placement agreements, orientations and all other relevant documentationRespond promptly to inquiries from students, employers, schools and internal staff regarding placement related mattersBuild, maintain and enhance relationships with employers and community groups to secure student placements and provide support and guidance to all stakeholdersAct as primary contact for placements, coordinating student support and evaluationPromote apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities for studentsWhat you will bringGenuine enthusiasm and passion for helping young people commence their career journeyStrong level of customer service and solution focussedGreat written and verbal communication skills with an ability to build relationships and positively influence and negotiateAbility to engage, inspire and support students throughout their learningExcellent time management and organisation skillsCompetent in MS Office and use of databases or portalsRTO experience and knowledge of VET in School programs, along with apprenticeships and traineeships would be highly advantageousSelf-motivated and able to work both autonomously and part of a teamWhy The Australian Trade Training College?Professional development and career growth opportunitiesFriendly and supportive team environmentCompetitive salaryMilestone staff anniversary bonuses and rewardsDiversity, Equality and Inclusion programsEmployee Assistance ProgramSuccessful applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.A current Working with Children Blue Card and National Police Check is required and can be arranged for the suitable candidate.#J-18808-Ljbffr
