Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering) Full time About the role The role of the Communications Lead – CRR is to provide technical support to the construction and Test and Commissioning teams, as well as ensuring all contract requirements are demonstrated as met with requisite evidence available.
Specifically: Write/Review/Implement Hexagon checklists for wireless systems and PA SystemsRPEQ signoff after review of Hexagon acceptance of Construction ActivitiesSME guidance and advice for construction and testing & commissioning activitiesProvide assurance of network design and acceptance during the various configuration stagesPrepare Work Instructions for wireless systems testingPrepare Telecommunications Commissioning Report for each configuration stage of the projectReview and approve Redline Markups of drawingsAct as RPEQ for Wireless System Document sign offGovern and Signoff the RF testing activities for testing and commissioningSME and point of contact for Lead Carrier (Telco), GWN Directorate, ETCS (Hitachi) and ERS (RIS) systemsPlan and support the Test and Commissioning of the MTS / ERS / GWN/PS systemsQuality Control reviews of installation activitiesRecommend and procure testing equipment for testingWrite / update the EMC Commissioning Report for each configuration stage of the projectProvide assurance for EMC activities for the configuration stagesInvestigate Standards and provide assistance with compliance for procured itemsRespond to ISA comments for EMCAssist to resolve EMC related issues in Stations and TunnelAbout You You will thrive in a technical environment, and able to solve a problem.
Ideally you will have:
