As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure-based solutions for our organisation. Based at our Milton Head Office, this role involves ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the network and cloud infrastructure at yourtown, while also focusing on performance optimisation and automation initiatives.
Your Responsibilities:
Manage infrastructure, cloud services, and network activities, including the continuous improvement of VPNs, Wi-Fi designs, and configurations. Implement consistent policy applications through the configuration of FortiManager.
Work closely with our Architecture Review Group to design Azure cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with Microsoft Azure Reference Architectures.
Take responsibility for the secure and compliant operation of our cloud platforms, focusing on Azure environments.
Analyze and troubleshoot infrastructure incidents across both on-premises and cloud environments.
What We Are Looking For:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, backed by over 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud network and infrastructure.
Bring robust expertise in designing and implementing network and security solutions, especially in a hybrid environment featuring technologies like Fortigate, Cisco, Azure Express Route, and Azure Networking.
Boast in-depth experience and knowledge in Azure Cloud, particularly in roles involving build and support.
Possess a solid grasp of cloud security concepts, identity and access management, and compliance requirements.
