About the role
Our client is currently seeking a Care Manager for their aged care facility based in Adelaide, South Australia. This is a permanent full time role with no weekend work and no on-call. Making for a great work / life balance.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensure the delivery of effective care services Oversee the assessment, planning, delivery and monitoring of all care Provide education and mentorship to clinical staff Ensure the facility operates in line with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and professional standards Participate in and contribute to quality improvement and continuous improvement programs Maintain contact with families through scheduled conferences Provide clinical support, guidance and advice to management Oversee and report on any clinical incidents and care related events Supervise medication management in accordance with regulations, policies and scope of practice Assist with the development and reporting of budgets To be successful in the role you will have:
Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration is essential Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role within aged care Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to lead and positively influence a multi-disciplinary team National Police Check or willing to obtain Proof of Influenza & Covid-19 Vaccinations Full working rights in Australia Why apply through Healthcare Australia?
