Kestrelis one of the world's largest producing underground coking, or metallurgical coal mines and produces around 7 million tonnes of metallurgical coal annually. Our coal is shipped to key markets in Asia and Europe to be used in the steel making process. The mine is located in the Bowen Basin, approximately 40km Northeast of Emerald in Central QLD. Our team's capability covers the entire mining process, from development to extraction and processing, environmental management and sustainable rehabilitation. As a Training Business Partner, you will be based on site at Kestrel Mine working a 9-day fortnight (Mon-Fri) roster and will report directly to the Training Superintendent. In this role you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of training and assessment activities for new and current employees and contractors across site.What's on Offer:Permanent role on a site with a long mine life.Work Life Balance - working Monday to Friday or a 9-day fortnight.Residential role allowing you to be home every night.Generous salary package with a competitive incentive structure.Company housing options.Salary sacrificing and salary packaging options.Generous Health Benefits including options for subsidised private health insurance.Working for an organisation that values their people and will invest in your future.In this role, you will support Kestrel by:Liaising with stakeholders to identify and support training needs.Daily interaction with underground personnel conducting training and competency assessments.Facilitating various training packages inclusive of site inductions to employees and contractors.Liaising with training providers to coordinate the delivery of external training.Using and maintaining the HST learning management database.Proactively reviewing current practices and identifying initiatives to ensure the continuous improvement of Kestrel's safety and training.About you:A minimum of 2 years' experience in underground operations.Cert IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40116 or equivalent.A great attitude and strong commitment to workplace health and safety.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Sound proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - excel, word, outlookKnowledge of relevant legislations, regulations & safety standards (desirable)Experience in writing & delivering training packages (desirable)Applicants interested in exploring this position are encouraged to submit their resume via the apply now link.Please note: Applicants may be contacted and progressed prior to the closing date.Kestrel Coal Resources is committed to building a partnership with our people through establishing and maintaining a high-performance culture based on our values, people management and personal development framework.
