Want to elevate your career to a Higher Altitude?Come and showcase your skills, where the sky is truly the limit!We have an exciting FT permanent opportunity for a Billing Officer with our Corporate AR team based in Broadbeach on the beautiful Gold Coast.More about this role:Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, this role works in a dedicated team and is responsible for managing the allocated ledger of Accounts Receivables in a high volume and fast-paced environment.In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are:Address discrepancies and inconsistencies with key stakeholders.Investigate, manage and resolve billing enquiries.Manage any data exceptions from our processing systems.Accurate reconciliation of weekly volume client statements.Ensure execution of revenue related internal controls through maintenance of and compliance with system controls, audits and company standards.Liaise with Procurement and Suppliers to query pricing and with Item Master team to facilitate maintenance of correct pricing in all systems.Ensure electronic scanning and other space-saving methods of storage and retrieval are processed accurately.Assist with assigned projects, including the implementation of software and provide training and support to others as directed.Participate in month-end close, reconciliation of accounts, and data maintenance.What you need to be successful in securing this role?Demonstrated accounting success or min 3 years in a similar role.Experience in a high volume accounts receivable role.Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Possesses a customer service mindset and displays professionalism towards both internal and external customers at all times.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong negotiation skills.High attention to detail.What's in it for you?Competitive salary.5 weeks annual leave.Subsidised Car Parking.Career development and progression.Be part of a close-knit and dedicated team that are committed to excellence.Discounts at hundreds of retailers, discounted health insurance, and wellbeing resources including online exercise classes.Your prospective employer:Part of the Emirates Group, we are Australia's largest inflight catering and retail partner, food manufacturing and retail, travel retail technology, and airport lounge management.
