Join our ever-growing Finance Team in this new position – Senior Accounts Reconciliation Officer.
Reporting to the Banking and Accounts Receivables Team Lead, this new role is to assist with overseeing the banking and receivables functions across global markets and support the transactional banking requirements within the organisation.
This fast-paced role will suit someone with a senior background, experienced within global markets, exchange rates, and end-to-end reconciliations.
Providing expert advice to our retail stores and working cross-functionally with other internal departments is also a key part of this new role.
Working from our state-of-the-art building based in Cannon Hill, we offer complimentary parking in addition to light open-plan offices which encourage collaborative ideas and thinking.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will be: Support the team with end-to-end reconciliations, banking journals, and supporting reconciliation of foreign currencies with best practice, accountability, and accuracy.Review balance sheets for finance providers, marketplaces, and bank accounts.Prepare and complete reconciliation reporting monthly.Ensure daily exchange rates are accurate and roll forward the exchange rate excel reporting.Provide expert support to stores and other internal departments such as Retail Operations and our Audit team.Mentor the junior members within the team, providing guidance and advice.Be a key member for Finance at Credit Committee meetings.Continually review processes with the lens of process improvement.The successful applicant will ideally have: Previous experience in banking reconciliation.Senior skills to successfully manage, develop, and lead an effective team with differing professional approaches and skill levels.Highly developed written and oral skills.Developed computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics 365.In return, we offer: Exposure to retail environments - we are a Global brand.A competitive salary package and benefits.A key contributor to an internationally expanding retail business.Flat organisation structure with accountability.Generous employee purchasing privileges.Ongoing training, coaching, and development provided. #J-18808-Ljbffr
