Job Description
Preparation of month end management accounts for properties - income journals, bank reconciliations, pre-payments & accruals, profit and loss statements, balance sheet, GST and cash flow statements.
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Assisting in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
Participating in monthly and annual financial closings.
Conducting regular ledger and bank reconciliations.
Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
Developing systems to improve financial performance and reporting.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accountant should have:
Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CA/CPA commenced or completed.
Previously worked in a similar role servicing multiple entities.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
