Automation Test Lead
As our Automation Test Lead, you will be responsible for defining and implementing an automation testing strategy to increase automation across Core Product & Workflow Platforms delivery teams. This position is located at our Brisbane CBD office with the flexibility to work from home two days per week.
You'll make an impact by: Define strategies and implement modern automation solutions with a focus on continuous integration pipelines working with both developers and test engineers to improve development, test, and release processes.Work closely with the technical teams to design, develop, execute and maintain automation scripts enabling and advocating an automation first approach.Research, investigate, socialise and implement emerging technologies via internal innovation of our automation, quality engineering, and performance functions.Develop and implement a roadmap of technical improvement initiatives across testing frameworks.Collaborate with delivery teams to maintain and expand test automation frameworks across User Interface, API and Performance.Collaborate with delivery teams to implement User Interface test automation across web and mobile apps.Design, develop and maintain API test automation scripts, service visualisation assets and performance testing scripts.Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to enhance mobile app build pipelines.Mentor technical team members, providing support & reviewing code promoting a CI/CD culture.Work closely with other teams to work on performance testing strategy.To succeed in this role, you will have: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a complex software delivery environment implementing high levels of automation.Experience working within the financial services industry.Prior experience in the application and setup of CI/CD process and tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo or Team City.Strong experience in Selenium Web driver with exposure to Java and JavaScript.Experience in API test automation and service virtualisation methodologies.Experience designing and executing Performance testing for user interface and API using tools like JMeter.Strong knowledge of revision control systems, branching and merging, and general git knowledge.Knowledge of shell scripting including Powershell and Bash is highly regarded.Why Great Southern Bank?
