Carinity Education – Gladstone have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Attendance and Inclusion Support Worker to join the team.Reporting to the Deputy Principal, the Attendance and Inclusion Support Worker (AISW) promotes, supports, organises and supervises the Youth Worker team in the area of attendance and inclusion of diverse student needs. In this role, you will oversee the formal process that guides and documents student attendance and liaises with stakeholders to improve student outcomes. You will also be responsible for the formal process that guides and documents the verification process for students with disabilities, including working with teachers and Youth Workers to meet guidelines and deadlines for the NCCD process.What do I need for the role?Qualifications in Youth Work, Teacher Aide, or Teaching.Demonstrated experience with student attendance and student behaviour management.Demonstrated experience with the NCCD process for students with disabilities.Experience in providing support and building positive, professional relationships with marginalized young people, particularly those who have been victims of abuse, neglect, substance abuse, and/or self-harm.The benefits of joining the Carinity teamAccess to extensive not-for-profit salary packaging options.Be part of a value-driven organisation, with a culture of caring for others.Ongoing training and development to reach your full potential.Location: Carinity Education – Gladstone.
