The Role: We are seeking a passionate and engaging Associate or Senior Associate level Landscape Architect, Architect or Urban Designer to take responsibility for developing creative design solutions on our projects. You will play a key role at ASPECT, employing a confident leadership style and the dexterous management of projects to deliver powerful and innovative design outcomes. You will shape a lasting culture within the Perth studio and contribute across the practice internationally.
About You: You put the pursuit of purpose at the center of your design ideas. You have a strong portfolio of high-quality conceptual design work, with experience delivering a range of projects from concept design and master planning to contract documentation and administration. You possess a strong understanding of technical design documentation and the translation of conceptual ideas into buildable documentation packages.
Adept at working across geographies and with diverse international clients and collaborators, your strategic approach allows you to navigate the challenges posed by complex, city-shaping projects. Strong communication skills enable you to successfully advocate for design outcomes, and your capacity for listening and sensitivity allows you to interpret and develop a brief.
You have experience leading a design team in both face-to-face and remote working environments. You find joy in mentoring others and watching them develop.
Over the course of your career, you have led or assisted with the development of submissions and proposals and contributed to the preparation of project-related design strategy. You are confident preparing high-quality documentation and presenting to external client groups.
An enthusiasm for contributing to and evolving dynamic workflows is desirable, along with proficient knowledge of 3D design software such as Rhino, Grasshopper, Twinmotion, and Adobe Creative Suite.
