About the Client
Our client is an Australian-owned, integrated transport, logistics, and rural supply company which provides end-to-end services to the food processing, food services, fresh produce, rural and horticultural industries, through their specialised transport and rural divisions. They are seeking to engage a full-time Applications Support Specialist based in Brisbane.

About the Role
The Applications Support Specialist will take ownership of enterprise software applications comprising but not limited to basic to complex end-user support, application fault resolution, software lifecycle management, configuration, user access controls including license compliance, vendor management, application performance and service component dependency monitoring and administration. This will include business systems such as D365 for Finance and their core truck management system.

Responsibilities: End user support and troubleshooting using ITSM and service desk management tools. Ensure business systems are optimally designed and configured. Ensure products and dependencies are kept updated. Follow the change management process when making configuration changes, software & data updates or adding new features. Test application changes to minimise the risk of unplanned issues. Monitor software license compliance and assign user access. Develop relationships with vendors and application support contractors and manage their performance. Document regular maintenance and support tasks in the IT knowledge base. Develop systems procedural and training material and conduct training sessions. Identify software integration opportunities and work with the integration specialists to deliver solutions. Support a range of applications including ERP, payroll, HR, and more. Skills and Experience: Business application software experience and application support experience. SQL Query and Application Database knowledge. Experience in a similar role in a corporate environment or IT service provider. Aptitude to quickly learn new software applications and provide exceptional levels of support to end users. High-level reasoning skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail. High-level interpersonal communication and written skills to maintain relationships with third-party service providers and vendors and provide excellent customer service to internal customers.
