Application Support Specialist

**This is a support role, not a software developer role** Talenza's have been engaged by an ASX listed manufacturing client to find a Brisbane based Application Support Specialist for a long-term contracting role.
The role requires a strong understanding of SQL databases, application support and strong skills with troubleshooting, integrations and migrations.
Essential Requirements 5+ years in a support focused role, working with internal stakeholders.
Strong SQL database understanding with the ability to write complex queries.
An understanding of legacy applications built in visual basic (desirable).
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining applications.
Experience migrating applications onto new platforms.
Experience working with modern technologies including API servers.
Experience in industries including; industrial, heavy industries, mining, manufacturing are highly desirable.
