Job Summary:
Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Account Executive is responsible for increasing advertising sales revenue for the Ziff Davis portfolio of sites from your knowledge of agency groups and direct clients. The role focuses on growing year over year commitment of repeat partners and searching for new business. The role will involve developing sales strategies, creating sponsorship packages, delivering client pitches and ensuring delivery is of the highest possible standard.

Responsibilities:
Develop valuable relationships with media agencies, trading desks and direct clients
Build new non-traditional products and relationship-based initiatives that generate revenue outside of the standard media executions
Maintain a functional level of programmatic knowledge to uncover and convert programmatic revenue opportunities
Review monthly and quarterly revenue performance to budget and provide insight, commentary and action plans to ensure budgets ar exceeded
Use internal analytics tools to provide clients with progress and end-of-campaign reports
Provide insight and vision around current and future market conditions and how this may impact business
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the clients that you are responsible for including their product release schedule and briefing cycle
Stay up-to-date with news and current trends in the media industry that will affect our day-to-day
Have a clearly defined client and agency action plan to deliver increased revenue and brands not carried to the business
Experience/Skill Requirements:
Established history and knowledge of working in the digital media, marketing and advertising industry
Sales or account management experience preferred
Agency and client relationships in the Australian media market
Experience in budgeting and revenue forecasts
Consistent track record in setting and achieving business and personal goals
Experience in sales, research, analytics and ad-serving systems such as AdManager 360, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Nielsen, and Trello
Strategic and quantitative skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Intermediate to advanced skills in, PowerPoint, Excel and Photoshop
