Hamilton Barnes are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our clients team on a 6-month contract. You will be working with one of the largest technology companies with a global presence, ensuring our database environments' smooth operation and optimization.
As an Azure SRE Engineer, you will play a crucial role in streamlining and automating the system development process. You will ensure that our services run smoothly, quickly identify and resolve issues, and set up the infrastructure for successful deployments. Your expertise will be essential in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, configuring, scripting, and automating build processes. Additionally, you will set up the necessary tools and frameworks to ensure an efficient and automated deployment process.
Responsibilities: Streamline and automate the system development process.Ensure services run smoothly, identifying and resolving issues quickly.Set up infrastructure for successful deployments.Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including configuring, scripting, and automating build processes.Set up necessary tools and frameworks for efficient, automated deployments.Skills/Must have: Security Clearance: Must hold valid SC Clearance.Kubernetes: Proficient in managing containerized applications.Linux: Strong experience with Linux operating systems.CD Pipelines Tool (eg, Harness): Skilled in Continuous Deployment pipelines.Git: Proficient in version control using Git.Terraform + Bicep: Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.Ansible: Skilled in automation and configuration management.Monitoring Tools: Experience with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, PagerDuty, and ICM.Benefits: Work with one of the largest technology providers in the world.Fully remote position, offering flexibility.Competitive compensation for a 6-month contract role.Salary: £500 per day
