About the Role: Are you ready to make an impact? We are seeking an experienced and driven Workshop Supervisor to lead our team of welders and machinist. If you have hands on expertise in Welding and Fabrication/Machining/Assembly then this could be the ideal role for you!
You will take ownership of the workshop; scheduling, allocating and organising the production flow to ensure Fabrication & Machining tasks are completed on time as per required job specifications and drawings.
Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Supervise, motivate and assign responsibilities to employees to ensure production targets are achieved.Review job documentation and schedule the workshop job flow across Fabrication and Machine Shop to ensure Projects are delivered on time.Liaise with the Engineering, Procurement and Projects teams to ensure materials and components are available to ensure efficient production flow.Ensure all work is being completed safely and all employees are adhering to HR and WH&S policies and procedures.Manage the performance and productivity of workshop employees.Conduct pre-welding checks were required and post-welding inspection and Quality Acceptance checks on all completed fabricated components.Provide hands-on support in the fabrication process using your extensive knowledge and experience to assist when needed.What's in it for you?
