Good 2 Go Mechanical have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Workshop Supervisor in the South West of WA. This is a casual full time role with a vehicle and accommodation provided if you are not a local resident.
The Role: As a Workshop Supervisor, your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Workshop providing your expertise in earthmoving equipment. You will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of Tradespeople and Apprentices and working closely with the Regional Maintenance Manager. You will be required to provide efficient and effective daily management of the Workshop and ensure our equipment is maintained to a high standard. You will facilitate scheduled servicing, oversee general maintenance and repairs to our fleet of primarily Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitatchi machinery. You will also be expected to do regular stocktakes, order and maintain required levels of stock.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee workshop activities and manage a team of Tradespeople and ApprenticesCoordinate scheduled services, repairs and job tasks with your team in a time efficient manner to meet current and future demandsEnsure all maintenance and repairs are being carried out in a prompt manner, ensuring high quality standards and timely delivery are met.Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team, ensuring that all hazards are identified and reported promptly. You will ensure safety measures are in place to reduce the risk of injury or illness and regularly inspect the workplace for potential hazardsDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliersYou will be responsible for maintaining organised records of completed jobs and the hours worked to ensure accurate billingRequirements: Strong Hydraulic, Electrical, Pneumatic experienceProven experience as a workshop supervisor in a similar role - 5 years experience desirable (salary dependant on experience)Previous experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitatchi machineryStrong organisation and communication skillsAttention to detail and strong time management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsComputer and system skills essentialHow to Apply: If you're an experienced Workshop Supervisor with a strong background in earthmoving equipment, we want to hear from you!
