As a result, we are looking for an experienced HSE Systems Coordinator to join our team.
Offered as a full-time role based in our West Perth office, this business support role will administer and maintain a variety of HSE related systems and support our work towards various ISO certifications.
Our Role
Reporting to our HSE Systems Manager and working within our broader safety team, areas of focus for this role include:
Develop, implement, and maintain Warrikal's safety and environmental management systems Use and maintain HSE software databases (DoneSafe, Intertek), including event maintenance, trouble-shooting, liaison between internal and external stakeholders and all related activities. Ensure all safety procedures, policies, and supporting documentation are up to date and aligned with regulatory requirements. Coordinate training programs for staff on safety protocols and system usage. Support and improve current Warrikal documents and procedures ahead of future ISO certification. Assist in the establishment and maintenance of tools for reporting and measuring compliance. Facilitate the integration of safety management systems into daily operations across departments. Work collaboratively and in consultation with our operational teams to coach and support as well as receive feedback for future system optimisation. Support safety system improvement initiatives based on audit findings, incident reports, and employee feedback. YOUR BACKGROUND Previous experience with safety systems ideally with exposure from within the resources and/or construction sector Working knowledge of WHS Act and Regulations (WA) Tertiary qualifications within a related field will be highly regarded as will previous experience with ISO certification Proven stakeholder engagement capability with the ability to support business systems delivery Strong organisation and computer literacy skills (experience with event management systems such as DoneSafe highly desirable) WHY WARRIKAL?
