The role devises interventions and solutions to work with customers and employers to improve prospects of maintaining sustainable employment, while also working with employers to appropriately plan and develop their workforce to create future employment opportunities and to improve overall staff retention.
A solid understanding of person-centred case management principles including barrier management is core to continued success as well as a detailed understanding of the principles of workforce planning.
The Workforce Partner will be well versed in the National Standards for Disability Services and will create future employment opportunities for people with a disability through identifying opportunities to deliver training around workplace diversity and customised employment.
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support DES Jobseekers to milestone outcomesEngage employers and undertake effective tracking of claimsLodge compliant claims for paymentDevelop strong relationships with customers, both face to face and over the phone, to understand their placement potential and the actions needed to assist them to be job readyConduct customer appointments and guide customers through the process, identify barriers and devise appropriate management plans and pathwaysMaintain progress reviews and identify next steps at each milestoneDeliver effective and timely communication and post placement care to both employers and customersTo be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in the delivery of employment services, and post placement support (highly preferred)Excellent customer and client interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAn eagerness to learn and grow within the industryStrong team player attributesAbility to prioritise workload, use initiative and multi-taskSelf-motivated and enthusiasticHigh level of computer literacyAustralian Driver's Licence - this is required as this role supplies a fully maintained company vehicle with travel expected.
