Reporting into our People & Culture Director, as the leader of our enterprise WHS function, you will be responsible for partnering with leaders across the organisation to manage our safety-related risks and foster a strong safety-first culture. You'll be the kind of person who can quickly build strong collaborative stakeholder relationships as you work to drive innovation in our approach to safety.
Over the last couple of years, we've made some great strides forward in the development of our safety programs and systems, and you'll be responsible for keeping this momentum going.
You'll lead a team of five safety and staff health professionals across services spanning Pre-employment screening, Manual Handling, Injury Management, Workers Compensation, Workplace Audits, Staff Health, Safety Education & Wellbeing (EAP).
Who we are looking for
You'll bring an impressive track record for leading a team in the implementation of impactful WHS strategies, programs, and systems within a large, complex Health Services (ideally hospital), or related organisation such as Aged Care, Community, or Disability Services.
You'll have a deep knowledge of contemporary Health & Safety legislation, regulations, standards & guidelines as well as Workers Compensation premium models. You'll have tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a related field. About Us
