Wireless Telecommunications Technicians

We provide a range of services including design, project management and construction. We specialise in the installation, commissioning and testing of critical infrastructure.
We are currently seeking Wireless Telecommunications Technicians to work on a variety of telecommunications projects in Victoria.
Job description: Installation and commissioning of all types of fixed and wireless network equipmentInstallation and commissioning of BTS equipmentEquipment – assembly, erection, positioning and labellingInstall, test and maintain telecommunications transmission equipmentInstallation and customisation of telecommunications software applicationsAnalysis of system faultsDecommissioning of old transmission equipmentCompletion of appropriate process documentationSuccessful applicants will have the following:
Telecommunications industry experience ( 3 – 5 years)Working at height certificationConstruction Industry white cardRF awareness certificationFirst aid certificationCurrent drivers licenceDemonstrated skills in fault diagnosisExcellent communications skills both written and verbal, sound computing skills also requiredExperience with Ericsson technologiesExperience with Telstra, Optus and VHA installations standards (Preferable)Transmission and Microwave experience (Preferable)Demonstrated knowledge of safe working practicesCandidates should note that the position may require interstate travel at times.
