Reporting to the Director of Content Development, you will assist in reviewing and developing Wills & Estate related content for our core LEAP Legal Practice Management offering.

MEET THE CONTENT TEAM
Our Content team are local, regional, and global professionals reassuring clients that our software isn't just cutting edge – it's world class too. Responsible for maintaining LEAP's global standards of care and expertise, the team harnesses a deep and complex understanding of the intricacies of law across jurisdictions and over time – ensuring LEAP's output is always current, compliant, and appropriate.
WHAT YOU'LL DOWork closely with a supportive team, contributing to case strategy and ensuring cohesive progress on Wills and Estates product content.Provide legal expertise in drafting and reviewing content for estate planning products, including wills, trusts, and estate administration tools including probate services and family provision claims.Collaborate with the Forms Designer Team and Database Design Team to ensure that all product-related content (forms, templates, instructions) is legally sound, clear, and user-friendly.Contribute to creating product-specific content, ensuring it is accurate and compliant.Ensure that all estate planning products and content comply with applicable legal requirements in different state jurisdictions.Build solid relationships and work closely with LEAP Dev to resolve issues, manage changes, and required improvements around LEAP applications and tooling relevant to estate law.Analyse user feedback and legal inquiries related to product content and incorporate insights to improve the accuracy and usability of the products.Work with the customer support team to understand recurring issues and refine product content to reduce legal ambiguities and improve user satisfaction.Develop state-specific or country-specific content within the product, in collaboration with developers, to ensure it meets the unique estate laws of various regions.Contribute to brainstorming and strategy sessions for product development, offering legal insights on how to innovate and expand estate planning solutions.Stay informed about new legal tech trends in estate planning and administration and propose enhancements or new product content based on evolving legal needs.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMinimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience as an estates lawyer, with in-depth knowledge of estate planning and/or estate administration.Specialisation in one Australian jurisdiction, with the eagerness and ability to research and learn other jurisdictions.Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions related to estate planning and/or estate administration.Expertise in conducting comprehensive legal research on wills, estates, and probate laws, including the ability to interpret and apply legislative changes.Strong legal writing skills to craft clear, precise, and legally sound product content, documentation, and user instructions.Familiarity with legal technology and experience working on digital platforms that offer estate planning or estate administration services.Understanding of the intersection between law and technology, with a focus on automating and simplifying legal processes.Ability to create user-friendly, legally compliant content, including templates, forms, and instructional guides, for estate planning products.Experience in simplifying complex legal concepts for a non-legal audience, ensuring ease of use and comprehension.Meticulous attention to detail, especially when reviewing and drafting legal content to ensure accuracy, compliance, and legal sufficiency.Ability to identify potential legal risks and propose solutions that ensure content is both legally sound and user-centric.BENEFITSOpportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-growing legal tech environment.Flexible working arrangements (hybrid option).Professional development opportunities.Be Me day to celebrate being you!Collaborative and innovative company culture.Fully stocked Pantry and weekly lunches, and much more!Life at LEAP LEAP is all about impact, growth, and ownership.
