We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SeniorConservation Ranger to join our team to help safeguard our natural landscapes and inspire positive environmental change.
As aConservation Ranger, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative conservation programs, collaborating with schools, community groups and organisations to protect and enhance the local environment.
You'll have the chance to lead outdoor activities, educate the public, and create lasting connections between people and the natural world.
What you'll be working on Working closely with community organisations, and volunteer groups to deliver impactful conservation programs.
Leading educational workshops, field trips, and environmental awareness campaigns that inspire action on biodiversity.
Assisting with the management of local parks, woodlands, wetlands, and other green spaces, ensuring they remain healthy and biodiverse.
Implementing conservation initiatives, including habitat restoration and biodiversity citizen science surveys.
Engaging and supporting volunteer groups, empowering them to take an active role in protecting their local environment.
Planning and running events such as National Tree Day/World Environment Day and conservation days.
What you need to succeed: A current Victorian Drivers Licence.
The ability to engage, educate, and inspire a diverse range of people of all ages and backgrounds.
You will be required to work overtime providing the lead for our Friends of Group activity days and community events.
